CLE Consulting Firm is a Cleveland-based financial services practice providing accounting, bookkeeping, tax services, and outsourced controllership to small businesses, religious organizations, and nonprofits. Founded on a commitment to hands-on, collaborative client relationships, the firm positions itself as a true partner in helping organizations make informed financial decisions and achieve long-term sustainability. Their approach is deeply rooted in community – prioritizing integrity, client education, and staying connected to the Cleveland area they serve.

Brand Identity & Symbolism The interlocking C’s came from watching how the partners worked with their clients – hands-on, collaborative, full-service. The two C’s in “CLE Consulting” gave me a natural starting point for that visual connection. I created three different lockups (icon, wordmark, emblem) so the team had flexibility across applications – social media, signage, letterhead, whatever the moment called for.

Color & Cultural Connection The blue and gold might look like standard finance industry colors, but they’re actually the founder’s high school colors. The partners are deeply committed to giving back to Cleveland, so using those colors made the brand feel authentic to who they actually are – not just another generic wealth management firm. It’s a small detail that makes a real difference in how rooted the brand feels.

Digital Strategy & Longevity The original 2017 website wasn’t about being flashy – it needed to handle dense financial content without overwhelming visitors. I focused on clear hierarchy and making complex information actually readable. That approach held up well. We did a redesign in 2020, but the foundation stayed strong because the strategy was sound from the start. It still converts prospects, and clients actually use it as a resource.

DESIGN IMPACT This project took a local accounting practice and gave it the visual presence to compete with regional firms – without losing the personal, community-focused feel that makes them different. The website’s been live for years and still does its job. We got the fundamentals right.
